How to Cook Everything Vegetarian - Mark Bittman I love Mark Bittman's cooking style. His way of thinking about recipes (as a template with infinite variations) just makes sense to me. I got this after I'd been using How to Cook Everything for a year or two, and there is some overlap between the two.

There is enough difference, though, to make it worth it to buy both copies (volume one and volume two, as I call them). Great recipe ideas, and they just WORK!
