Bones: Recipes, History, and Lore

Bones: Recipes, History, and Lore - Jennifer McLagan I really enjoyed this book, and the author's other book, intriguingly titled Fat. Although Bones didn't have as many lovely photographs as Fat did, I still enjoyed reading about how using bones for cooking can enhance our food.

The recipes are, as you might imagine, mostly rich or filling.

I learned a lot about making stock and cooking whole fish from this book that I didn't already know. I'll definitely be trying oxtail stew someday.
